Hi-Fiber flour s an excellent source of dietary fiber which can be used in wide range of applications in foods. It is a high quality source of dietary fiber and when added to other foods, the ordinary foods too will become fiber-added alternatives. It is naturally extracted from the tender parts of the oil palm tree (Elaeis guineensis).

It is also very light and can absorb a lot of water (up to 6-8 times its own weight) without congealing, it can withstand extremes of temperature and moisture conditions during food processing. No artificial coloring or artificial preservative is added.

It consists of soluble fiber, prebiotic fiber and insoluble fiber (60-95%). It is rich in lignin which gives the fiber its high antioxidant property (ORAC value 93); the only known dietary fiber that has high antioxidant property. It is able to penetrate the accumulation in the colon, lubricates he colon wall and makes it easy for the mucoid plaque (encrusted fecal matter) to be discharged.

The flour also contains xylose and xylo-oligosaccharide; a healthy sugar that promotes the growth of friendly floral in the intestines. Xylose is also antibacterial and antifungal; it is proving to help prevent cancer of the digestive tract.
