Banaba (Lagerstromia speciosa) tea is traditionally consumed to reduce blood sugar level. 

There has been much research done on Banaba leaves and their ability to reduce blood sugar, and its "insulin-like principle."  In the Philippines, Banaba is a popular medicine plant and is used in treatment of diabetes mellitus. It is high in corosolic acid which is used in many treatments for diabetes. Corosolic is a natural plant in-sulin, can be taken orally, and has no side effects, according to Japanese research.  It Is also widely used as an ingredient in weight loss And anti-obesity suppliment.

Our banaba leaves are freshly harvested, washed And dried using temperature controlled oven made from Stainless steel. Once dried, it is cut into 3 mm tea size and packed into tea bag sachet of 2.5g. Phytosanitory certificate and Country of Origin Certificate accopany each shipment
